Lower End Engine Fasteners for the Porsche® 928

Do Not Re-Use Your Main and Rod Bearing Fasteners! The metal in the fasteners will fatigue the second or third time they are torqued, and you will not get a true torque out of a used fastener. The result can be a catastrophic (and very expensive) engine failure.

ALSO: Our Main Bearing Stud Nuts are hi-strength alloy and extra-thick to catch more of the threads on the stud than ever before.

PLUS: Our rod bearing nuts are made for us by ARP, and use a special hi-strength (roughly 50% stronger than the OEM nuts) and lightweight alloy. They will remove 1 gram from the lower rod end. This reduces your internal reciprocating weight significantly at 6,000 RPM!

One kit includes:
  • 16 M10 x 1.25 12 pt nuts for stock 928 connecting rods
  • 10 M12 x 1.5 6 pt primary main bearing nuts
  • 12 M10 x 1.5 6 pt secondary main and case clamping nuts
