Overview: This is our maximum rebuild for all Vortech T, S, Si and Sci-trim superchargers. The finished Super-Vortech® will move 15% more air at all speeds, the boost will come in sooner, and the rev-limit for the supercharger will be higher.What we will do to your Blower
Our Patented Vortech® S-trim Impeller Upgrade: Our V+ impeller is cut from billet on a 5-axis CNC mill, allowing us to use higher-strength alloys, and balance it to higher tolerances. We cut in more aggressive inlet curls and progressive vanes that are computer-designed for optimum flow inside the impeller housing. Each impeller is spin balanced to 0.006 grams/inch, and designed to operate up to 60,000 rpm. This Impeller has been more than a year in development and testing, and is so unique that we have US Patent D588158 on it.
On-car and on-bench testing reveals that our V+ impeller moves about 15% more air ACROSS THE ENTIRE RPM BAND when compared to the classic S-trim impeller.
We were able to bring the boost in much sooner, which translates into USEABLE HORSEPOWER. Now your S-Trim Vortech® can produce almost the same 1200 CFM as a T-Trim below 50,000 rpm (impeller speed) and even more if you spool it up to 60,000!
The 928 Motorsports High-Speed Ceramic Bearings: We have found the right combination of ceramic ball bearings, HHS bearings races, and high-temp phenolic bearings cages to allow safe increases in rpm's compared to stock Vortech® impeller bearings. Previously, the operational limits for the stock bearings on the superchargers listed above was 53,000 rpm. Our Premium High-Speed Ceramic bearings are rated at 72,000 rpm in oil, and can run in the high 60,000's+ all day. Accept no substitute! If you think your going to spin up your Vortech a little faster for more boost - these are the bearings you need.
The 928 Motorsports Premium High-Speed Seal: Our seal is made from the finest materials for a long life, plus it has a broader sealing range than the OEM seal, so leaks don't happen!
The Warranty: Warranted to be without defects in materials or workmanship when you get it. Sorry, no warranty beyond that as we have no control over your application, installation, or how fast you decide to spin it. We can assure you it will leave our shop ready to race.... the rest is up to you!
